Zalmoxis Trio is a sound-adventure, the joyful collaboration of three experienced and passionate musicians from very different backgrounds. More than fusion, it is the complete abandonment of frontiers, the unfettered melodic energy of a wild and imaginary folklore learnt during real and dreamed journeys and laid out against a kaleidoscopic tapestry of modal jazz textures and lilting rhythms. It’s the sound-track of the gigantic and mysterious cinema of life, and it’s creators ask for nothing more than a little time to enter into a dialogue with their audience, seduce them, hypnotise them and draw them into their magical universe.
